Derek France- President & CEO
Meet Derek France, the President and CEO of Cross Timbers Consulting Group. Based in Flower Mound, Texas, Derek is a dedicated public servant and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in both government and private sectors.
In addition to his role as the head of Cross Timbers Consulting Group, Derek serves as the Mayor of the Town of Flower Mound, a position he was elected to in June 2021 for a three-year term. His passion for community service extends beyond his professional responsibilities. Derek actively participates in various philanthropic and volunteer organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Denton County, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Cross Timbers Rotary Club.
Derek's leadership and commitment have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, colleagues, and constituents. With a focus on transparency, accountability, and inclusivity, Derek is driving positive change and fostering growth in Flower Mound and beyond. His extensive experience in the defense and government services sector, combined with his dedication to community service, has made him a respected leader and advocate for his community.
Jenna France- Human Resource Generalist & Development Leader
Jenna is an accomplished Human Resources professional known for her dedication to community engagement. With a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, she has built a strong foundation in business principles and a passion for people management. Throughout her academic journey, Jenna actively participated in various organizations, including Aggie Women in Business, where she honed her leadership skills and gained insights into the challenges faced by women in the corporate world. Additionally, her involvement in the TAMU Society for Human Resource Management allowed her to stay updated on industry trends and connect with like-minded professionals. As the former Events Coordinator for Dance Arts Society, Jenna cultivated skills in teamwork, effective communication, and relationship-building, complementing her love for dance.
Currently, Jenna actively contributes to her community as a member of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, engaging with local businesses, fostering connections, and actively supporting community growth. Furthermore, she is part of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, utilizing networking events and professional development opportunities to connect, learn, and advance her career. Her leadership abilities extend beyond her academic pursuits.
In her free time, Jenna indulges her passion for books and live music, exploring different genres and attending concerts and performances to immerse herself performing arts. With her academic background, extensive leadership experience, and active community involvement, Jenna continues to thrive and make a positive impact in her community, the field of Human Resources, and at Cross Timbers Consulting Group.
